New York State DEC (Department of Environmental Conservation) is reporting that a 4-foot gator has been seen below the waters of the Peconic river in Long Island. The scary part is that attempts to capture the gator have so far FAILED. This is the 17th alligator in the past nine months that has been spotted in the wild on Long Island.

Alain Vigneault to coach NY Rangers

I guess we won't see Mark Messier coaching the Rangers next year. Vancouver Canucks headcoach Alain Vigneault, has agreed in principle to becoming the new coach of the New York Rangers.
