How to survive summer BBQ’s

In a state where half of all adult residents are obese, Summer BBQ’s are one of our guilty pleasure’s. Here are a few tips on how to pig out while watching your figure.

1) Go Lean: salmon, skinless chicken, and lean meat are healthier alternatives to Burger’s and sausages.

2) Veg out!: Veggie burgers and corn on the cob can fill you up while keeping you light.

3) Go Green: Fill your plate with salad before going for the grilled food, this may sway you away from the fatty foods.

4) Lose the Booze: By sticking to water or natural juices you can watch your calorie count more efficiently.

5) 1st round knockout: Say no to seconds. That second serving can definitely put you over the top!
