Michael Jackson liked for everything he did to be the biggest spectacle on Earth; in his passing, nothing will change. The King of Pop’s funeral will be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA.

According to sources, The funeral will be held on July 7th, at 10am. AEG Live – Jackson’s partner in his now-scuttled comeback concerts – owns Staples and the Nokia Theatre theater next door. The funeral is expected to use both buildings and a surrounding plaza.

Gigantic TV screens will be mounted on the outside for anyone who does not get to make it inside. No word on ticket information, or how to gain entrance.

In order to do this, the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, scheduled to begin its run at Staples on July 8, had to be persuaded to postpone moving into Staples by several hours.
