In men’s fashion, Masculinity is something that is religious. Not anymore it seems, with the emergence of the male-purse or Murse, men are turning the fashion world upside down. It all started as a little fad, “this is just a really big laptop bag”, the excuses were endless but now men are more than happy to acknowledge the use of hand bags.
Under the guise of Boutique labels, men have been able to sneak in the most forbidden accessory in fashion. But is this really about clothing labels or is this something that some men have been yearning for years? I can’t think of anything that i would need to carry on a daily basis that would require a hand bag. Yeah, that Gucci man-bag matches your loafers, but does it match your cojones?

I for one give this fad two thumbs down, The fashion shows are separated by gender for a reason, and if we begin to cross-dress, it becomes nothing more than a circus-show. With all due respect, to each their own, but don’t try and campaign for something that is obviously taboo, and make us feel like we are missing something. If you’re important enough to need a man-bag, more power to you, but I have yet to come with a logical explanation as to why a man would need a bag.
New Rule! If you’re going to carry a man-bag, you have to hire a female personal assistant to carry it!
Gay, gay, gay!
