Chia Pets have recently created a grassy-haired version of it’s cute collectible of President Barack Obama, sporting a nifty afro. The Presidential Chia Pet — which many critics cite as racist because of its afro — are coming to a New York City store near you soon. Other states, such as Chicago and Tampa, are barring the figurine from being sold in their stores.

Obviously, President Barack Obama cares more about getting us out of this financial crisis, but what does a trip from Capitol Hill to L.A. to appear on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno prove? Does getting a spot on the Jay Leno show to talk about everything from AIG to the new Presidential pooch allieviate us from our problems?

I hate agreeing with hardcore republicans like Jon Kyl, but I concur with him: he should be in Washington helping to solve this financial crisis.
